Man sentenced twenty years for rape: Colesburg
NORTHERN CAPE – The South African Police Service welcomes the rape sentences that was handed down to Kuyasa in the Colesburg Regional Court, recently. The accused known as Sinathemba Dick (36) was sentenced to twenty years direct imprisonment for the rape of a 50-year-old female.
The incident took place on 27 May 2016 at about 22:00 in the house of the victim in Kuyasa near Colesburg. The accused was arrested two days later and was linked by his DNA. He was found guilty and sentenced on 10 April 2019.
