House breaking and theft suspects nabbed

GAUTENG – Two suspects, both aged 18, were arrested on 09 May 2019 in the morning at the crime scene at Khutsong South Ext 1.

The victim had left his house to drop off his wife at work. He had locked the doors and windows properly closed. As he arrived back home after some few minutes he realized that the door was damaged and suspected that someone was inside the house. As he was unlocking the door he spotted the suspect inside the house and called the community for assistance.

The suspect was arrested at the scene and pointed out his accomplice. The police were called and both suspects were arrested and detained at Khutsong SAPS.

A case of housebreaking with the intent to commit an offence is been investigated.

The two suspects appeared in Khutsong Magistrate’s Court on 13 May 2019

The Station Commander, Colonel Melinda Prinsloo once more welcome the arrest, with the assistance of the community housebreaking is one of the problematic crimes in khutsong precincts and will request the community to continue assisting with information that will lead to the arrest of outstanding suspects breaking into our houses.
