Off-duty members arrest suspect with tik

MACLEAR – On 12 February 2020, Warrant Officer Mngqinya and Constable Kalimashe of Maclear Crime Prevention received information on a suspect dealing in drugs.

As the two members were off-duty and on their rest days they took their private vehicle and decided to follow up the information.

On further investigation they found the suspect, searched him and found 14 straws of tik in his possession.

The 26-year-old suspect was arrested for dealing in drugs.

The Cluster Commander, Colonel Matshediso Gezani commended the members for their swift action and their commitment while off duty. It is with this conduct that we gain the communities trust! Keep up with the good work!
