Lephalale SAPS Women’s Network engages with women to discuss their well-being

On 06 May 2022, the Lephalale Women’s Network engaged with women within the SAPS to address mental health issues affecting them on daily basis and other issues at Cappuccinos Palm Park hotel in Lephalale town.

The event was led by Lephalale Women’s Network Champion Captain Hensia Semenya-Fambe, she was with Social Crime Prevention Coordinator Sergeant Kekana, Sergeant Kholofelo Matsheke of Lephalale Detectives, Constable Saghwati Thobakgale of Lephalale EHW, Admin Seloba and Admin Manyako.

During the programme, women discussed important issues about their health which includes physical health, emotional health, mental health and spiritual health. Women were also encouraged to keep working hard, remain disciplined, and never misuse their sick leaves.
