The Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies, Ms Khumbudzo Ntshavheni will visit KwaZulu-Natal to assess the damage caused by the recent devastating floods in the Province.

Extensive damage to ICT infrastructure in the area has resulted in the disruption of essential connectivity.

The visit is scheduled as follows:

Venue: Kwamashu

The Minister will further outline plans and efforts thus far to restore connectivity in areas affected by the destruction of communications infrastructure. Telecommunications companies and state-owned entities are working hard to restore connectivity in the Province.

Members of the media are invited to cover the visit and interact with the Minister on what the Department is doing to restore connectivity in the area.
