PEDDIE – Last night, 24 April 2022 at about 21:45, Police arrested two suspects aged 38 and 42 years for possession of stolen property.

Police were busy with the patrols along N2 road between Peddie and Fish River when they spotted a white Nissan bakkie with a load covered with a blanket. They immediately stopped it and introduced themselves and upon searching the vehicle they found a load of Black label beer cans. The two occupants of the bakkie could not give police satisfactorily account for such possession. They were then arrested for possession of suspected stolen property. The liquor was confiscated by Police.

The suspects will appear at Peddie Magistrate Court tomorrow.
