Two Teens Shot Dead In Cape Town, South Africa

Police have launched a manhunt for an unknown gunman, who shot dead two teenagers, in the early hours of yesterday, in Cape Town, the legislative capital of South Africa and capital city of Western Cape province, local media reported.

Western Cape Police spokesperson, Sergeant Wesley Twigg, said, police were called to the scene in Waterway informal settlement, in Eerste River, just after 1:00 a.m. local time, where the bodies of the two boys – aged 15 and 17, respectively – were found.

“The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation. The suspect (is) yet to be arrested,” Twigg was quoted as saying.

The motive for the attack is yet to be established, said Twigg
