The second suspect, a 40-year-old female died in a hospital in Mthatha while under police guard last night, 29 September 2021 due to her injuries. She was a police Constable from SAPS Montclair.

She was charged yesterday in absentia for murder and illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition. The male suspect that was arrested on Saturday, 25 September 2021 appeared in the Cradock Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 27 September 2021 and the case is postponed to 8 October 2021.
