Dunnottar: The South African Police Service in Dunnottar led by Vispol Commander WO Sonnyboy Twala, Department of Social Development, EMPD and CPF continue to educate the community on gender based violence and femicide and dangers of substance abuse.<\/P>

The main aim of the campaign was to interact with different communities through a multi discipline approach to address the issues that are contributing to gender based violence and substance abuse in Dunnottar CBD. They then moved to Sharon Park Shopping complex and Tonk Meter Square where the focus was on gender based violence and services available to assist victims.<\/P>

The awareness campaign in Zone 3 are ongoing on a journey to a safer South Africa. Communities are urged to continue to report any forms of crime and GBV perpetrated against women, children and vulnerable groups to their nearest police station or call Crime Stop on 08600 10111.<\/P>
