Employment and Labour hosts Career and Opportunities Expo in Oudtshoorn, 27 Jun

Employment and Labour to host a Career and Opportunities Expo in Oudtshoorn

In an effort to assist work-seekers to access available opportunities in the labour market, the Department of Employment and Labour in the Western Cape is inviting work-seekers in Oudtshoorn and surrounding areas to a Career and Opportunity Expo.

The objective of the Expo is to serve as a platform for work-seekers to receive information regarding opportunities for work and learning. A variety of exhibitors will be sharing their services and opportunities on the day.

Work-seekers should bring their ID’s and CV’s to the Expo to register on the Department’s Employment Services of South Africa (ESSA) database for work-seekers. ESSA connects work seekers with available job opportunities for placement purposes. It’s available to all South African citizens at no cost.

As part of the initiative to reduce unemployment, work-seekers will also be provided with guidance on how to write a proper CV, interview skills and what hinders them from being shortlisted.
